I don't want to pussify the game, but I always thought that a player who injured another should have to sit a while, if the play was an illegal play. Not talking about incidental contact, but headhunting, or personal fouls for blind-side hits.

The league goes over games and has leveled fines for dirty nonsense. Its not pussifying the game. If the league doesnt reign in the worst of it, it turns into rollerball. Daryl Stingley was the unfortunate victim of the NFL being reactive and not proactive

I think we agree on this, but I want the league to do more than fine a player. I want suspensions for dirty plays that injure opponents. Suspensions that actually have teeth.

If they take games, they take money and get fined.I’m not sure anything else will make a dent
