It's more of a baseball term, but I was referring to his arm, ball placement (especially on deep throws), and ability to read and manipulate defenses, which are very apparent when you throw on just about any film of him.

I think he makes the team without a doubt, but this kind of language is surely designed to give him a kick in the ass, given that the knock on him is whether he is willing to put in the work.

He was the second tier QB I hoped we would get. To get him in the 4th
was an absolute coup. A perfect situation for him to be in to learn from Rivers and Reich. If those guys can help the rest of him catch up to his arm then goodness gracious. |
