Its not always. I’m sure they must have one an opener since 2001
If memory serves me correctly we had impressive wins in the '05-'07 openers with a solid win @ Balt, then blow out wins @ NYG and vs. NOLA respectively. We also won the openers in '02, '03, '09, and '13, but all just barely against bad teams.
