I'm on record in saying that Saturday is probably not the answer. But Reich never was either.

Never having the same QB twice certainly hamstrings a coach. You look at most of the components of winning and the Colts have often lacked them. In a passing league the Colts weaknesses have been at QB, pass rush, WR, and LT (last couple years). I’m not sure what Colts fans expect - not a single season under Ballard has the team been built to truly compete. It’s always been a continuation of the rebuild.

Irsay’s handling of the situation has only diminished the team. They are a fucking laughing stock around the league. He satisfied idiot fans calling for Reich’s head and the team is worse off. They were 3-3-1 when Irsay started meddling. They are now 1-6 since. And the master motivator has been outscored 58-0. But at least Reich isn’t still trying to coach his way out of it I guess.

He will probably trade down multiple times to acquire as many 2nd round picks as he can, which will be spent on project DEs with "great traits" who never amount to shit in the NFL (after not doing much in college).

Damn, what a shitty afternoon for Colts fans. Good thing for me that I had already bailed on this worthless piece of shit team and decided to go see Violent Night instead of watching the Colts game. I had a much better time than watching my team allow the largest comeback in NFL history.
And as an added bonus they showed the red band trailer for Cocaine Bear before the show, which I can't get enough of (linked below) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuWEEKeJLMI Last edited by IndyNorm; 12-17-2022 at 10:00 PM. |

10-6 with Luck. 30-27-1 with the carousel that came after him. Ballard is much more to blame for the downfall of this team than Reich. Reich was the one holding it together, as evidenced by the 1-4 record since he was fired. Getting rid of Reich was a mistake. |

Also just speculating, but Irsay probably wanted some real answers as to why the highest paid OL in the league that he was paying for was performing as the worst in the league. When Reich and Ballard couldn't supply him with any real answer other than trying to blow the same smoke up his ass they had been giving the public (OL really isn't that bad and getting better BS), he eventually grew tired of it and decided to bring in someone from the outside who could give him a real answer. |
