Default Nice article on DJ's recovery

NYT had a nice article on DJ's recovery. He makes it hard not to root for he guy, such a hard worker. Enjoy:

There's the Achilles effect: his top speed is down from 21.23 to 19.7 MPH, which is basically a step in a 40 yard dash, he's likely a tenth of a second slower on his 40 right now. Looks like it's something that recovers over time, but also, we don't need him to be as fast as Taylor to be an effective QB, we just need him to be able to scramble and have that be a viable threat, which it seems like he'll be able to do. This is very encouraging.

Yes, it's just an indication of his recovery in general. It's not like his top end is the most important aspect here. That slowest career scramble vs Houston wasn't troubling because we want him breaking designed runs.

Steichen's scheme wants him maneuver, which he couldn't do even prior to the Achilles.
