Default Colts draft EDGE Caden Curry - Round 6, Pick 214

Quote:
Colts sixth-round pick Caden Curry, a local product out of Center Grove HS, wore his vintage Peyton Manning jersey during his interview with media.

Grew up a huge Colts fan and regularly attended games at Lucas Oil Stadium.

When Caden Curry was a recruit at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana, Colts GM Chris Ballard called Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day and said “Man, have you seen this kid?”

Today, Ballard and the Colts selected Curry with the No. 214 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Steal of the fuckin draft!

Could’ve been like most modern day college athletes and transfer when things didn’t go your way early on. No he stick it out at Ohio State and earned his spot on the field.

High motor guy that’s gonna work his ass off.

Some were saying he was the best high school football defender they’ve ever seen in the state of Indiana.

He got overshadowed at Ohio State and isn’t gonna win any shirt off contest but he’ll outwork everyone!

It’ll be interesting. By almost any measure, he has the skills, the determination, the attitude necessary to thrive in the NFL. The problem is that almost any measure isn’t the same as every measure, and he has one giant red flag flying overhead. His arm length. Most GM’s took one look at his 30 1/8” arms and wrote him off. He’ll have a chance to prove those naysayers wrong, to prove that spirit, determination, and grit can overcome one bad physiological metric.
