They arent taking farms due to carbon emissions. The electric farm equipment that would be needed to replace diesel does not exist. Look at the article I posted.

Farmers have very small windows to plant crops when conditions are right for planting and harvesting, and we have fewer people producing the food for the rest of us.

FYI, I live in the middle of farm country in Indiana.

The corn is already in the ground and in another week they will be done with soy beans. They wont be running heavy equipment until the fall. Then, depending on the weather, the crops are in by the end of fall. That heavy equipment runs very few hours compared to cars and trucks on the interstate.

Big rig trucking is putting more pollution into the air than farm equipment. SCHOOL BUSES pollute more than farm equipment. Cars pollute more. You driving your car for a year pollutes more than a farm tractor in a year.

I cant find any other source on this topic.
