You must be thinking of someone else. Smith primarily played Right Guard for Auburn. He
may have played some spot duty at LT as a Freshman in a back-up role when there were upperclassman blocking his path / playing time. But he was recruited to Auburn as a Guard and mainly played Guard for the Tigers.
