It's been a long time since I've been this embarrassed to be a Colts fan.
I've followed the club for decades, including its days in Baltimore. I'm
not going to tell you how old I am, only my IRS auditor and shrink know
for sure although I can tell you I am younger than Albany Ed. What I can
also tell you is that that I haven't felt this discouraged since the '82 season.
I'm not giving up on Ballard but there's a lot of pain ahead and Pagano is
gone, probably sooner rather than latter.
We are in the same boat and I watched the game today with Albany Ed in upstate NY. I'm not sure I need to go back to Baltimore days for feeling this low but today set a new bar as far as I'm concerned. Something that keeps resonating with me is this thought that since Tolzien outplayed Morris back when pads really were not being worn and no pre season performance was there to be judged it was used to keep Tolzien as #2 and to cut Morris and go out and acquire Brissett. I could give a shit about picking him up, to be honest I hope he starts next week and does well. I'm pissed about the reasoning for keeping Tolzien over Morris when the pre season performance of Morris was clearly superior to that of Tolzien. Just another reason in a long list of reasons for Pagano to be let go and move on from a real long wasted period of the Luck era.
