Not to harp on it, but the OT rules really irritate me. People will say "you need to get a stop," but it's systematically unfair to the team that loses the toss. You need 2 positive outcomes in order to win (stop + score), whereas the team that wins the toss only needs 1 positive outcome (TD) to win. It's the most ludicrous setup for extended play in all pro sports. Just think about it:

NBA: each team gets 5 minutes, equal chance at possession
MLB: each team gets 3 outs on an inning by inning basis
Soccer: equal 15 minutes extra periods, followed by 5 penalty shots
NHL: golden goal, but each team has equal chance at possession

There is a very simple solution to this overtime issue that would solve it all pretty fairly. They should do what I understood was the rule in NFL Europe when it existed

Each team gets one possession of the ball.
If the score is still tied after each team gets one possession, then its sudden death, just like the old rules. First team to score wins.
