If Harold Landry had the stats in 2017 that he had in 2016, he and Chubb would rival each other for the title of "top defensive player" picked in the 2018 draft.
However, Landry came back for the senior year but only played in 7 games due to a high ankle sprain which limited him in a couple of other games as well. His production was off so that is why many have him further down the draft boards.

Beasley had 4.0 sacks and 26 tackles as a rookie in 2015.
He had 15.5 sacks and 39 tackles in his 2nd year in 2016.
I like him in the mid / late 1st round but not in the top 15.
