As for the Colts' struggles, you can't say it's because they're going all vanilla because that assumes that the Ravens aren't. Everyone is vanilla, but receivers should at least be able to get open occasionally. I also don't care how plain your blocking scheme is, priority one should be to not let the other team have a free run at your starting QB.
