It sucks about Mewhort; I liked him alot before injury.
However, it is also a great cautionary tale.
A lot of sports writers downgraded our draft because we drafted 2 OGs in the first two rounds and their reasoning was "but they already have Mewhort...."
These are guys "in the know" but yet they did not have anywhere near the full info on him. Ballard did.
Need to take almost anything anyone says that is not in the thick of things with a gain (or bucket) of salt because it is all just their guesses as well.
