Davenport's measurables are closer to Peppers, and if he had any level of developed pass rush ability rather than just being a big strong guy who can muscle his way past some of the top talent in the world, I would've given him that comp. Size wise, Chubb compares favorably with Bruce Smith.
Also, no to Barkley and ideal is trade down and still get Chubb.
