I get that we were injured in the backfield and thus we couldn't play this aggressive get after it scheme we allegedly were going to, but fuck man, when we were reasonably healthy, we didn't look like some power house beat your ass defense, we looked like a modest upgrade from Gus' potentially worst scheme in history.

Uhh, the Bengals went from 24th in total defense last season to dead last this year. So they actually got significantly worse when Lou left.
Meanwhile, the Colts got much better from last season, especially in run defense.
Lou is not the problem. Give him a better pass rush and a few healthy corners and he’ll he just fine.
