So starting out, this seems like a wasted year. I do not expect us to make any noise as a contender. at best just another middling team. That said, I will hate every single loss we get. Things that worry me this year are as follows ......


1) Usually I don't care about this, but holy shit, the Colts getting trashed by the media. Everywhere you look, the colts are a joke. Is this a Daniel Jones thing? Most people acknowledge that the Colts have a decent roster, yet they don't even think we will be mediocre. I see way more hype for the Titans and the Jaguars than the Colts. It has to be Daniel Jones, right ??? Most people have the Colts as a bottom-5 team. This is a bit surprising to me.


2) How Ballard looks at our linebacking group and says, "Yeah, that will do" is beyond me. Our best linebacker sucks. Once again, a position group that is a known issue that Ballard just refuses to address.

3) D-Line ??? Just rolling it back with the guys that were bad last year. Maybe a new DC will help out here, but I really don't like the depth in this particular area ...... we're basically putting all our hope on Latu becoming a guy.

4) I get the fact that we had to get younger on the O-Line, but why do we have no proven depth or competition at RG ??? I have a bad feeling that this O-Line will have some issues ...... the guard-depth is atrocious.

5) The fact that AR just seems to not understand how to properly prepare as a QB. Who the fuck has been working with this dude ??? Does he just not want to put in the work ??? Why is his footwork still so bad at times ??? Why didn't we bring in a Matt Hasselbeck-like player to help him figure this out ???

6) Can Daniel Jones deal with pressure ??? Can he actually throw 20 yards downfield ??? What if Jones is just slightly better than Minshew, and these idiots give him a contract ??? I really wish that we would have just rolled with AR, and let the chips fall where they may.

7) l 11 straight seasons of not winning the opening game of the season (0-10-1 from 2014 through 2024)

8) l The Colts have lost 10 consecutive games to the Jaguars in northeastern Florida ...... when Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning were QB-ing the team between 2002 and 2014, they went 9-3 against the Jaguars down there (they lost down there in 2011 when Manning was injured, and Luck was still at Stanford.)
