In Sunday's baseball game when my beloved Baltimore Orioles were playing against the Tampa Bay Rays in southwestern Florida, Ramon Laureano was ejected from the game after arguing with the umpire about striking out. Just before he left the field, Laureano gave a little Rays fan his batting gloves before he went into the clubhouse ...... how cool is that ???

What Laureano did was cool for 2 reasons.
1) l The little kid wasn't even an Oriole fan, he was a Rays fan who was rooting for Laureano to strike out in the first place.
2) l Laureano had just been thrown out of the game, and was presumably not in the best of moods......if anything, you might expect him to do something hostile at such a time, but Laureano did the opposite.
Every once in while, you'll see something that almost ......
almost restores your faith in humanity.
