I'm sure durability has something to do w/ it since Bynum has started all 17 games for 3 straight seasons (knock on wood). Probably fit as well since Blackmon is better at SS, which Cross is also better there.
Also, Bynum switched from CB in college to S his rookie year and only had 3 starts that year. Not sure how much he played when he wasn't starting his rookie year, but we probably need to compare 54 starts for Bynum vs. 62 for Blackmon.
