If he goes the route of a lot of other dudes that have been down this well beaten path, right now is the high water mark for his market value. That's a great way to lose value and confirm to the entire NFL that you're an ineptly run franchise that has no idea how to develop a QB. At that point, you might as well fire the whole front office and turn this franchise into a Haslam like 3 ring circus, with coaches, GMs and QBs being replaced on a near annual basis.
