I was curious about this...I remember the commentators confused about him being ruled "out" if he was back on the sideline still in full gear.
And they had the sideline report ask about it and she had reported back after talking to Steichen that he replied with a short "he got hit, he's out"
I wasn't sure if that was just some coach-speak and not wanting to elaborate. Or was it frustration with AR? If the latter, I kinda felt that was a risky thing to do, given how the game almost slipped away. WIthout AR, the offense lost a few dimensions, like the RPO. Even though Flacco played fairly well, there was definitely some stalled drives.
