Now i could understand having cause for concern as to why we seem to have had quite a few concussions, and why have they happened? Are the helmets not as robust and providing the protection that is needed? But if someone is suffering with a brain injury then they shouldn't see the light of day in terms of any playing time until they are 100% healed, not 80% or 99%, you shouldn't be messing about with the brain.
Why do I need to know? What is that? Why do I need to know anything, by that logic? I didn't say I need to know and I didn't say I deserve to know.

It drives me nuts in a few ways from different directions. For one, it drives me nuts the same way it drives me nuts when a player "has a hamstring" and then proceeds to miss months on-end. It's frustrating as a fan/spectator, naturally, because you want to see your team at full strength.

Then it's the unknown that naturally exacerbates that frustration. The explanations you gave are nowhere to be found when a player is out. I'm not even saying they ought to disclose... doesn't make it less frustrating to not know.

I could start a whole shitshow debate about the third element which is the broader situation and the NFL's response... but that's probably better left for an off-season thread.
