I think that they have the QB, but the offensive line has been so awful that it nullifies him (the QB.) Believe it or not, Ryan's numbers were very solid in the Colts' last 2 games ...... if he had had even average blocking from the offensive line, we could very well have been seeing the Ryan who was in his prime with the Falcons.
So I agree with your general sentiment in regard to the offense, but I think that the problem is much more the offensive line than it is the quarterback. If the offensive line can somehow upgrade their play from awful to average over the final 13 games of the season, the Colts will have at least a prayer for a winning season and a playoff berth ...... if not, forget it.
