We celebrate veterans every Sunday during the pro and college football games. We play the Nation Anthem before every HS spots event, and recite the pledge of allegiance every morning in every school in this nation.
All summer my local town has the main drag covered with the stars and stripes, with the names of those serving in the military, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
The center of Indy has a huge monument for veterans.
And in closing, we should do more. But its more than 2 days.
