Why??? Not even spending the money they have right now. Maybe Ballard is planning another big trade and needs the extra cash, we shall see.

Ballard is not trading anymore this season. He already made a trade and is down two of his coveted draft picks. He is waiting for more cuts to grab someone on a value deal, cheap-ish 1-2 year deals. I expect we sign a couple vets on 1 year deals.
