Funny how it could be literally either end of the spectrum. Clark was hideously raw last preseason but by the end of the year it seemed that he had gotten it decent. Not decent enough where I'd trust him to be the franchise LT, but if that's the rate of his growth, then he should be there in no time.
I'm not sure Clark factored into their decision here. They needed to replace Reitz's spot on the roster regardless of their thoughts toward Clark.

My guess is that this is all about upside. It's certainly a boom or bust pick. When you factor in the size, bull-dozing ability that this line lacks, and the bloodline, then there's reason for optimism. We'll see if Philbin can coach him up.
