After an excellent season in which they reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the first times since 2014, the Pacers are off to a mediocre 5-7 start to the 2024-25 season.

I don't get to watch them much, but the injuries seem to have messed with their rotations and chemistry.

At the present time, there are only 3 teams above .500 in the Eastern Conference. :eek:

(NOVEMEBER 26th)



The Pacers have won 2 games in a row ...... that's the good news.

The bad news is that the team that they beat are the Bullets/Wizards and the Pelicans, who have a combined record of 6-28 (2-14 and 4-14, respectively.)

The Grizzlies game showed exactly who this team is; scoring 45 points in the first quarter and blowing a 17 point lead. Jackson was looking so good before the injury and 13 was a bona-fide presence in the post. I admire the young players stepping up. It will be interesting to see how desperate the front office is before the trade deadline. Also, I fucking love the coaching staff. I doubt Carlisle sticks around after this season sadly.

(DECEMBER 19th)


Although the Pacers won their 3rd straight game, 2 of those wins came against the 76ers (8-16) and the Pelicans (5-23) ...... they are still playing at a mediocre level with a record of 13-15 after 28 games.

Ty is questionable with an ankle.

Sit him or limit him tonight against Da Bulls?

At the All Star break, the Pacers currently sit at 4th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 30-23 record (0.566 pct) :cool:
