DL Tyquan Lewis' season is over with a knee injury. Brutal blow for a solid d-lineman who'll be a free agent this spring.

WR TY Hilton suffered a concussion and will miss Thursday night's game vs. the Jets.

Injury to watch — LG Quenton Nelson missed Tuesday's walkthrough with a toe injury, and likely will be questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Jets.

Don't expect the Colts to bring K Rodrigo Blankenship off IR before Thursday's game vs. the Jets; he's eligible and getting healthier, but it's more likely he plays next week vs. Jax. Team wants him at full strength for the season's final stretch.

I'd be wary of giving Nelson a huge contract. He's really good, but he's picking up injuries these days and adequate guards aren't that difficult for teams to get. TY will retire and good for him! He's been a great Colt.

The Colts will be missing both starting safeties for a while - they just placed S Khari Willis on IR so he will miss at least 3 games due to his calf injury.

Taking his place on the roster is WR Dezmon Patmon who was activated from the IR.

The Colts also elevated S Jahleel Addae from the practice squad so that he could be available for tonight's game.

You know this won’t happen though. We will give him a max contract and then some. Unless he develops a career ending injury.

The Colts will usually front load the guaranteed money of a big contract extension. That means that the team could exit the contract early with a minimal dead cap hit if needed. Take a look at Braden Smith's or Darius Leonard's contract extensions from the last off season - they are listed as 4 or 5 year extensions but the Colts could exit the contract early after the second year if needed.
