He needs to get some game time with the 1s and 2s. Being promoted doesn't mean shit if he's with 3s and 4s. We've already seen what Tolzien can do.

and we have wasted 2 games to see what the rookie could do. pagano seriously has no clue what he is doing. unless there is some behind the scenes stuff we don't know about. which i doubt

Tolzien should be 3, or just cut, ideally.

No idea what they see in him that makes them think he can even be a back up in this league.

i thought he looked like a decent backup when we played the steelers last year.

i don't go crazy about preseason qb play too much but man has he looked bad.
