He's focused on the trenches still, which is good. Thinks the fans want a WR, but talks about building the D. Seems like that will be his priority. Get that (those) pass rusher(s), Chris.

With the options that should be available, I'll be disappointed if he doesn't take a receiver with one of the first three picks. There are some difference makers who will be available.

When asked directly if he thinks the locker room could take on a character risk, Ballard says that he doesn't think the locker room is there yet. He notes that the roster is still really young and a lot of guys are still finding their footing as pros.

Ballard also notes that he really wants to improve the talent across the D. Omaha will be happy.

he seems comfortable with the RB stable.

Ballard said they did go after FAs last yr and in a lot of instances the unknown about Lucks future played a part of not signing.
