Official "We surely won't lose to the freaking Lions" game day thread

At home, I think we win handily. On the road...

Btw, that extra hour should have been to get a thread, not drink extra Keystone Lights, Omaha.

I'm only here to check out the name of the thread. I give it a C-. It has a beat, but it's difficult to dance to.

Yeah, it kind of has a Richard Marx thing going for it.

I'm a bit nervous about this one. With the exception of being blown out at GB the Lions have either won or been within 1 score in every game. If we get off to a slow start again then it could be a bad day.

My crystal ball says a close loss. Stafford is a good quarterback and we make bad ones look like HOF’ers.

Pez 11-01-2020 11:15 AM

Slow start, our defense keeps us in the game enough to withstand two picks from Rivers.

No Motor City Meltdown today!

I think we get the win for but the same reason. We make mediocre qb’s look like all-pros. Stafford is far better. I think they bring their A game and Stafford throws 2+ pics while under consistent pressure that yields 4+ sacks.

My first reaction to that is, "There is no way that Frank Reich will let them do that YET AGAIN ......" but perhaps they will manage to screw it up by being overly-conscientious about avoiding it.

We'll find out soon enough.

I'm nervous every week, regardless of the opponent. To me, the key to winning is to start playing in the 1st quarter. We cannot afford another shit start, there's no reason for it.
