During a discussion on NFL Network after the Patriots won the Super Bowl over the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime, Sanders backed up the Pats regarding the team’s legacy.
Fellow analyst LaDainian Tomlinson noted that detractors would bring up Spygate as something that tarnishes the legacy of the Patriots and causes a reason for them to have an asterisk. Sanders vigorously dismissed such talk. “Did those critics say anything about the wins that the Indianapolis Colts had? Because they were getting everybody’s signals,” Sanders said on NFL Network after the game. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...als/ar-AAmFvjR |

I have heard the stupid "piped in crowd noise" accusation, but not the Colts stealing singles. |
How Sanders and Michael Irvin still have jobs is beyond me. Two of the stupidest MF's around.

Prior to the 2012 season, Sanders was asserting that Peyton Manning would have a "rough start" in Denver. Sanders' reasoning was that Manning would not have "Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison to throw to." Well, in 2010 Manning somehow managed to complete 67 passes in only 10 games to Jacob Tamme ...... putting Tamme in 2nd place overall on the Colts' all-time list (1953-present) for receptions by a tight end in a season (behind Dallas Clark, and ahead of John Mackey.) As it turned out, it wound up taking Manning all of 3 or 4 games to essentially import the system of his Indianapolis Colts' offense from 2003-2010 to his new team in 2012. He finished the season with 37 TD's, 11 INT's, and a 68.6% completion rate. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-hall-o...ning-in-Denver Then last year, guess who was jumping on the "Manning is finished" bandwagon when Manning was down and injured (prior to his comeback late in the season.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CIDWSEYimw Sanders is a complete dick. And it was nice to see Manning come back from his injury on the final game of the regular season last year to take over for an ineffective Brock Osweiler to lead the Broncos to a come-from-behind win over the Chargers ....... a game that would have dropped them from the #1 seed to the #5 seed had they lost. o |
Dude is still butt hurt that Marvin broke his ankles.
