There was no way they could keep him; he just did not fit what the Colts need at ILB and Erwin Jackson is a much younger, faster and cheaper version of D'Q.

Colts are mighty thin on linebackers. I expect this to be addressed through free agency and the draft. Ballard needs to produce in this department.
