Bobby Okereke Rookie Film Breakdown

Indianapolis Colts LB'er: Bobby Okereke had a good start to his NFL career.

Being thrown into the fire early due to a concussion by Darius week 2, he thrived!

But how good can he truly be in the NFL?

Check the video to find my opinion!

I like okereke. He is already a good coverage LB. I think he will make a good jump this next year. If we ever get to it.

I am retty excited about this young man going forward, him and Leonard will hopefully be a great combo for many years.

Looking at Walker, Leonard and Okereke as the starting LBs in a 4-3 base, and it sure looks like one of the best position groups on the roster (the depth ain't bad either).

It sure is the best LB corps since at least the 2006 playoff run (Brackett, June, and Morris replacing Gardner at SAM, which was a move that should have been made 2 years sooner!!) and honestly might even be better. Add in Thornton from the 2005 season and we had some good backers back then but each of the 3 current guys just seem bigger and faster, more dynamic and productive, especially in forcing turnovers.

The linebackers now are longer faster and more athletic then those of '06 (save June) That's the real difference. The NFL offenses are going smaller and faster, so the defenses have to match. It is actually a big reason why Henry foes so well for the Titans. So many teams have more hybrid/lighter defensive players to catch speed guys, that big bully RB's can just run over them. Hybrid's have to learn to tackle low on those guys, or give up 2-3 extra yards after contact.
