Buffalo Bills: A 10-Win Season for the 1st Time in 20 Years

o

The last time that the Buffalo Bills won at least 10 games in a season, Doug Flutie was their starting quarterback, and they lost an historic playoff game to the Tennessee Titans on a play that is still being disputed to this day. Coach Wade Phillips inexplicably decided to start Rob Johnson over Flutie for that fateful playoff game.

20 years later, with 2 games still left to be played, the Bills beat the Steelers on a nationally-televised game for their 10th win of the 2019 season ........ the victory also clinched a playoff berth for the men from upstate New York.

Just shows how blessed we have been, with Manning and Luck averaging about ten or eleven wins a season while they were playing here.

(ONE YEAR LATER)

The 2020 Buffalo Bills have won a division title for the first time in a quarter century (1995.)

The last time that they called themselves "AFC Champions," Jim Kelly was their starting quarterbacks and Marv Levy was their head coach.

Failing to hold a 3-point lead with only 13 seconds left in the 4th quarter will go down in Buffalo infamy, along with the Music City Miracle from the 1999 season playoffs.

Still amazed that they were 0-4 in Super Bowls with all of that talent.

The Bills have won 4 consecutive division titles for only the 2nd time in their 64-season franchise history (1960 - 2023) ...... they had previously won 4 consecutive AFC East titles from 1988 through 1991.
