Kareem Hunt

We are 3rd on waiver wire. Cleveland and Giants most like wouldnt claim him. S Obviously he’s not playin this year and maybe most of the next.

Should we claim him knowing this with the chance he will eventually be reinstated?

I’m all for second chances.

Why would the Giants or Cleveland take him? Giants have Barkley and the Browns have Chubb.

One other question. He's on the commish's list, so he doesn't count against the roster. How long does that work? When would he start counting against a teams roster?

I meant wouldn’t. I edited.

colts should leave him alone.

Yes, Ballard would be talking out both sides of his mouth by signing Hunt.

You can't talk about building the right culture and then sign a POS like that. Also it would be public relations nightmare.

Coltsalr 12-02-2018 01:22 PM

I’d rather sign LeVeon Bell to some ridiculous contract than bring in the PR disaster that would be Kareem Hunt.

That said, I’m fine riding with what we’ve got. I like our guys. I think our focus needs to be adding to the WR corps and making it so that Luck isn’t throwing to hacks other than Hilton.

Racehorse 12-02-2018 01:37 PM

If we sign him for some stupid reason, I could see couples together wearing Hooker Hunt jerseys

GoBigBlue88 12-02-2018 01:42 PM

Zero interest in pussies who shove women to the ground and kick them.

JAFF 12-02-2018 01:45 PM

Somebody will. Talent trumps being an a hole

A team signed a bad dude who beat up his own kid. Hunt will be signed. Ballard could sell it as "we're trying to show this misguided soul the way to be a good person" or some nonsense.

NextManUp 12-02-2018 03:17 PM

I don’t want him, but I can see Houston signing him.

Dewey 5 12-02-2018 03:42 PM

Don't rule out the browns. Dorsey drafted him & Hunt is from the area.

Chromeburn 12-02-2018 04:00 PM

Is this the same as Ray Rice or Joe Mixon? No, not all crimes are the same. But still he should not have done it, should know better, then lied to an organization that treated him very well.

It would be a pr nightmare, and truthfully I personally would not want to see him on the team. Don't want to root for him.

Oldcolt 12-02-2018 04:03 PM

I hope the kid turns his life around. If he gets help, admits his mistake and takes actions to show he has learned from his fuck up I hope he gets another chance. It is way to early to give him that chance now in my opinion. He needs to earn it

Oldcolt 12-02-2018 04:42 PM

I'm happy to see that he is starting out right. He apologized to the woman, did not make any excuses for why he did it and said that Kansas City was totally in the right to fire him. He said his actions caused this. Good for him. Now if he follows up on this with positive actions that would be wonderful. I don't believe he is irredeemable. Still don't think we should sign him

albany ed 12-02-2018 05:18 PM

We need a RB. Marlon Mack is not the answer. If I were the GM, I'd claim him. But, I'll be fine with Ballard passing on him due to his character.

Good call - the Browns signed Kareem today to a 1 year contract.

A bit odd that the Browns signed him before his suspension was announced.

Dorsey doesn't waste any time.

His suspension could be 4 games or 16, Dorsey had more leverage to get an agreeable deal early than later. There is little chance at any point Hunt would have signed for less than that.
