At this point I'd need proof positive that they weren't cheating to believe it. Why does anyone believe they've stopped the cheating from Spygate? They still employ the guy who did it for them, and he still has the same role and responsibilities.

It's called outrage fatigue. Keep doing enough ridiculous things and admit no wrong doing. Eventually people wear out and lose perspective on what is normal.
