I am cool with this if it is cap-friendly, he is solid but has struggled to stay healthy at times and Gurley broke the RB market. Hope Henry wants all of the Tits money.

Hahaha - Henry is asking for the moon for his next contract. I guess if they don't reach an agreement, they could still tag him.

Zeke numbers is the floor,” Henry said on “The Rich Eisen Show” about his asking price.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has the largest contract for a running back in the NFL in total value, average value and guaranteed money. After a holdout, Elliott signed a six-year, $90 million contract extension that included $50 million in guaranteed money four days before the Cowboys kicked off their 2019 season.

The sports financial website spotrac.com estimates Henry’s market value as meriting a four-year, $55.3 million contract. Among the NFL’s running backs, only Elliott and the Los Angeles Rams’ Todd Gurley have contracts larger than Henry’s estimated value.

Tennessee could use its franchise tag to retain the running back. The sports financial website overthecap.com estimates the franchise-tag value for running backs in 2020 will be $12.474 million.

I hope they tag Henry and he pulls a Bell, that would be delicious.

He just started going beast mode in November. Is that when he remembered it was a contract year? 15 carries for 24 yards against Denver, 17 for 44 against Jacksonville, both earlier games in the year. Yeah, hold out until you get paid big man. He probably should've shown up every game if he wants highest-paid RB numbers.

I think he is upset that they made him share a lot of the load before and doesn't want to be there any longer.

be fair and proactive with Mack and it will all work out.

I like Mack, but I don't love him. He always seems nicked up and it hurts his speed and big play ability. I would really like them to draft another back in order to find some consistency when Mack is out. I like the depth behind him, but they seem to serve different purposes. On the flipside I don't think MAck will be that expensive, not that we are hurting for money in the least.

The nice things is Mack is young, 23 going into his 2nd contract so he will likely hit his prime soon. Compare that to Henry who is 26 and likely to start declining in a few years. But I would still like a good pick to pair him with.
