Kravitz on JMV

Kravitz on JMV:

He talked to "someone" (read Irsay) today re Chuckles status as head coach and the answer was: status quo.

Interpretation....Kratiz takes this to mean Chuckles will not be fired this week. He also further speculated that Irsay was prepared for this years suckage and likely won't replace him til end of year but has no doubt that Irsay is done with Chuck. Some reasons he posed for not doing this mid season is if he puts Schotteheimer or McMann ( and those are the only two he suggested as possibilities) in place and they magically do ok it will make it more difficult to move on and let Ballard pick his own person so they'd rather keep the status quo. He said if it does happen mid season it will be at the bye week. He did suggest that if Lucas Oil looks like Pittsburgh west in a few weeks (i.e. Everyone dumps their tix) that might trigger Jim.

He also reminded that Jim can flip the switch at any time. So in summary.....who the hell knows.

to be fair

pagano can really force his hand by getting blown out again this week. you just can't allow that kind every single week.

I have empathy for Pags....it must be excruciating to know you're fired at the end of the season and still have to be the front man for this shit show. It HAS to be having some impact on his performance even if he doesn't realize it. Irsay really didn't do chuck any favors by retaining him. This is a classic case of the Peter principle and for his sake I do hope that Jim doesn't wait til the end of the season. It's like watching a wounded animal dying a slow death. No bueno :(

I get what you are saying but he dug himself this hole and is getting paid a ton of money for it.

What was his quote last year, "they can fire you but they cant eat you" hahahahaha!

The Pittsburgh game has doom written all over it. It will be like a home game for them. Blowout coming.

What's different from any other game for the rest of the year?
