Colts And Orioles 02-03-2019 10:29 PM

The Rams are "catching up" in overall plays.

They have run 48, the Patriots 54.

It was overwhelmingly in favor of the Patriots in the first half.

I'm hoping that that is a good sign for the Rams' defense going forward (getting some rest, as opposed to constantly being out on the field.)

That was a critical call ........ and a very bad one.

The Rams were moving the ball, and were likely going to be in scoring position on that drive.

The phantom holding call hampered that effort, significantly.

This game was too big for Goff.

Miss the extra point, and give the Rams a chance to take the lead late.

Just shut up, and watch the game.

Christ they don;t call shit on the Pats

Spike 02-03-2019 10:44 PM

Now pass interference isn't called on the Pats. Another non call on those bastards.

Butter 02-03-2019 10:47 PM

I am about over the NFL if that can't get better refs.

Butter 02-03-2019 10:47 PM

Ok, then the fix is in.

edit: Never mind

Butter 02-03-2019 10:54 PM

I get the free timeout, but they are in FG range, seems like a bad choice with Gostkowski kicking.

There have been two very questionable momentum shifting calls in this game. Both in favor of the pats

Can't wait for Brady to get all of the pub/hype/praise for this Super Bowl win even though Belichick and the Pats defense deserve all of the praise.

I'll wait when the Colts are in it.

kitekrazy 02-03-2019 11:25 PM

BTW I think Super Bowls would be better played if players didn't skip a week.

Spike 02-04-2019 02:12 AM

What a boring ass SB.

daedge 02-04-2019 02:55 AM

Worst Super Bowl I've seen, and one of the very worst games I've seen. Right up there with the Colts' 6-0 loss to the Jags this season.

It would have been an exciting SB if it were KC vs NO. And, it would have been if the refs were on the ball.

So that was the lowest rated Superbowl in over a decade. Due to the score mostly, but also I think some backlash to the pats. That was a great gameplan though they put together. They had never done a lot of what they did in the game. Both defenses were great.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2...wered-offense/

So the pats put six guys on the line and ran stunts that just confused the line and simply filled the gaps going verticle up the field. They get a lot of credit but the biggest thing I think the pats do is their adaptability. They can change week to week defensively. None of that crap "we do what we do". They adjust and that is Belichick's best ability, to get their guys to do that. Too bad everything is marred by cheating.

Happy for Simon, he made several plays this year. I still think he would have helped us, but I think Ballard did not think this was the year it was going to be.

Allen's body just couldn't hold up. He is a light lineman now. A good blocker on the edge.

Dorsett is an underachiever. Never should have used a number 1 on him. At best he might be a late bloomer, but I doubt it.
