Apparently it's true. I'm seeing multiple accounts on Twitter saying the same. JMV says he'll have the story on his show today. Gonna be interesting. Makes the game against Washington watchable anyway.

Looks like it. Just created a thread myself but you beat me to the punch haha.

Saying Ryan has a shoulder injury. He was grabbing his arm yesterday.

Chromeburn 10-24-2022 02:28 PM

Separated shoulder is the rumor on twitter

This is the perfect game to give Sam a shot...suddenly I am interested in this team again!

Just read Chappell saying it's a grade 2 sprain in his throwing shoulder. But he also said they were going with Ehlinger regardless.

Turnovers are too much.

Some of us were saying it in the game thread yesterday: just say he's injured and put Sam in. If he really is injured, and he probably is after the beating he's taken for seven weeks, I hope he has a full recovery.

Am reading that Ehlinger will finish the rest of the season as QB1

Third and short and we have a chance if nothing is open. He can scoot a little.

Oldcolt 10-24-2022 02:41 PM

For me this means I can watch with interest again, especially if we pull off a trade for a guard. Don’t really think we can win big this year but at least we are looking toward the future. You never k me with QBs and Ehlinger is a huge long shot but we may be lucky and catch lightening in the bottle. Let’s hope Ehlinger does well and saves Franks job and our season. Ryan needs to retire.
