Malik Hooker's Game-Ending INT ... Shades of Marlin Jackson

o

That game 12 years ago was an AFC Championship game, and this was a regular season game ........ but the Colts' season (for all intents and purposes) was at stake for the Colts today, just as it was then.

In both instances, Jackson and Hooker were smart enough to get on their backs and end the play shortly after the INT, and not tempt fate with potential disaster.

Sorry but how does this even compare to a play and game that took them to becoming SB winners.

When you are as old as C&O, every play reminds you of a prior play. Alzheimer's is real tough

Ok, makes sense now. Thanks for your interpretation of his situation.

Yeah, that's really an ancient memory ........ you have to be at least 18 or 19 years-old to remember shit that is that old.

Haha thanks for the link. There's just something special about a Belicheat/TammyBrady deer-in-the-headlights look.

This was nothing like marlin Jackson’s pick.

Just dumb

In both instances, the Colts' season was hanging in the balance.

In both instances, there was less than 30 seconds left to play in the 4th quarter with the Colts clinging to a one-possession lead at the time of the INT.

In both instances, the player who made the INT (wisely) got on the ground quickly after making the pick.

In both instances, the game-clinching INT's were played in front of a raucous home crowd of over 57,000 Colts fans in Indianapolis (61,000 and change for today's game.)

But other than that, they were nothing alike at all.
