Browns Making Moves

Cleveland acquired QB Tyrod Taylor and WR Jarvis Landry today. Have to think they will go with Barkley at #1.

Basically, the Colts will have two paths:

1) Take Chubb if the Giants don’t.
2) Trade back to a team wanting to come up for a QB.

Either option is really good. My preference is #1, but #2 could bring in a ton of picks.

I a not sure it locks them into Barkley at 1, I think they are being smart and not wanting to throw their next QB to the wolves, very few are really ready day one. I hope you are right since that makes pick 3 so much more valuable, and with the Jets loading up on picks perhaps we could get a huge haul.

I was, and still am, all in for Chubb, but I am warming to trading back and acquiring more picks.

Oh, and wrong forum!

Browns just might takes Chubb #1 & pair him with Myles Garrett then take Mayfield #4. Garret & Chubb would be a deadly duo.

Point of the thread is how Cleveland’s moves impact Colts at 3.

yeah, makes me think they will go barkley #1 and see which QBs are there at 4.

I doubt they view Taylor as the long term answer for them at QB. I think they made that move as a stop gap until the QB that they draft is ready to play.

They can still just as easily take a QB #1 overall. It all depends on if they view one of them as far and away better than the others. If they grade them all about the same, then they could take Barkley or Chubb #1.

I think it's Barkley at #1. If NY takes Chubb second I'll be annoyed. Hopefully they take a QB or trade to someone that wants a QB. If Chubb and Barkley are both home at 3 I hope we trade down and get enough picks to get a top guard, MLB, and RB.

If that were to happen, Ballard has to take either Nelson of Fitzpatrick or trade back.

Those are the only other blue chippers in this draft.

Personally, I would trade back and try to get Roquon Smith and Tremaine Edmunds.

Ew. No. Chubb or bust. Smith can't shed a block and Edmunds can't swivel his hips and therefore will get torched in coverage. Evans and Vander Esch are the LBs I like the most in this draft.
