Raimann, he is gonna be ok

I think throwing him to the wolves was the only choice we had. Pryor was awful and not showing any signs of improvement whatsoever. He was actually regressing week to week. The last few weeks Raimann has really held his own against some elite pass rushers. Braden Smith seemed like he was starting to find his footing and remembering how to block. So for sake of argument we say we have our two tackles secured going forward, now, what do we do with center and two guard spots. Face it Q started regressing last year and has been a liability this year. Trade him while he has name recognition? Right guard has been a turnstile so anything is basically an upgrade there. Kelly has just been horribly pedestrian all year and no signs of improvement. Again a trade and take what we can get?

Here is the latest grade on Raimann from PFF

I say new staff and new year will bring some bounce back to Q and smith. move forward with raimann. Replace kelly and address RG.

That's what I would do. Nelson hasn't dropped off as much as people think, but Kelly is consistently bad.

Nelson seems to get beat in one on ones way more than he used to, but maybe that's b/c of who's playing next to him (certainly doesn't help). Agree on keeping him in hopes that fixing the positions next to him will get him back to his old self. Plus, he would be a ~$25M cap hit if he traded him in the offseason.

Kelly just flat out sucks now. He pretty much went from one of the best OCs in the league to quite possibly the worst. I'm sure if we let him go though that he'll be back in the Pro Bowl in no time

athletically, he looks capable.

definitely needs work on being able to anchor. i am hopeful he can develop but we have to have a good backup plan if he doesn't

Nelson was playing with a high ankle sprain for a large part of the season. So I’m giving him some slack. Kelly had a tougher injury. If you dont know what Im talking about, then it doesnt matter. He either gets it together or the team will move on.

The Colts need to spend some draft picks on O lineman no matter who they draft in the first round.
