Oakland lost the Raiders ...... l TWICE !!!

Now, they appear to be losing the Athletics, as the city of Las Vegas has agreed with the team to build a new stadium for them by the year 2027.

Oaklanders put up a big fight when the Raiders left for the first time, in 1982 ...... now, they have every intention of making themselves heard in regard to the very likely possibility that their beloved Athletics may also leave the Bay area within the next few years.

There are not enough votes from the Nevada legislators to build a new stadium in Las Vegas for the Athletics.

The Oakland Athletics have won 6 straight games, are sporting a respectable 17-17 overall record, and are only 1.5 games out of 1st place in the AL West ...... not bad for a team that has the lowest payroll in all of baseball, plays in front of sparse crowds in a dilapidated stadium, and are essentially a bunch of nomads with no real place to call home.
