Ballard news conference
Ballard just finished a news conference re: this issue (Okareke rape allegation), Bottom line, Colts knew in advance and did their due diligence. Time will tell whether it was worth the risk or not.

Ehh rape is such a difficult situation to break down. Rapists go free all the time and some innocent guys get prosecuted as well. Each situation is different and often it evolves into a he said she said situation because evidence is usually spotty. I don’t know the details of the case, but 3/5 undergrads that found him guilty holds no weight with me. Those student boards are not a court of law and they don’t operate with any kind of method I would trust. The fact she went to a judge and tried to get a restraint order and was denied makes me wonder. There obviously wasn’t enough evidence for a criminal prosecution.
