B) Through his first 3 games in the league, Dwight Freeney had 2 tackles and 1.0 sacks. Turay has 6 tackles and 1.5 sacks. C) Freeney did not start a game until week 10 of the 2002 season (9th game of the season). D) Freeney ended his rookie year with 41 tackles, 13.0 sacks, 9 FF and 1 PD (?!?). If Turay ends up with half those stats, it will have been a good rookie season for a 2nd rounder. Growth, growth, growth. That is the mantra for the 2018 Colts. Walk Worthy, |
I am encouraged about being competitive in all our games so far. In the two losses we were in position for potential game winning drives.
The D has really surprised me thus far. |
If we could've had the defense of the last 3 games in 2014 we would've been prime SB contenders. I expected Luck to have ups and downs the first half of the season. If he gets back to his normal self and the D continues to play well the 2nd half of 2018 will be a lot of fun to watch.

I am also very encouraged by this ........ I just hope that we don't wind up seeing a repetition of last season, when the Colts had LOTS of games in which they played the proverbial Washington Generals foil by continually letting victory slip away in the final 5-10 minutes of the 4th quarter. That said, I see this team as considerably different than last year's team ........ Luck coming back for the offense, and the defense looking like a different unit out there. I optimistically predicted them to go 11-4-1, and I suspect that they will wind up winning at least 7 or 8 games when all is said and done (unlike last year's 4-12 team.) o |
