The dumb-ass announcers said that the Patriots have never made the Super Bowl without a first-round bye.

Not true ........ the Patriots made the Super Bowl in 1985 as a Wildcard team. At the time, they were the first team ever to make it to the Super Bowl by winning 3 consecutive road games.

Professional football history DID NOT start when Bill Belichick started coaching the Patriots, you assholes ........ all of the world championship games that have been played since the 1933 season and all of the Super Bowls that have been played since the 1966 season count equally.

Yeah, they only do half ass research.

Rich Eison was terrible too on the Texans/Bucs game. Constantly getting names wrong, yardage wrong, not understanding the time out rule, etc...

Bills and Cheats game going down to the wire.

On the play in which quarterback Brett Hundley cut back inside and made the 1st down, I think that the announcers are mistaken in their assumption of what he was thinking ........ they said that he cut back inside so that he could get more yardage and pick up the 1st down. But I believe that the reason why he cut it back inside instead of going out of bounds was to keep the clock running. There were less than 5 minutes to play in the 4th quarter, and with a 7-point lead and a chip-shot field goal already in their pockets, I think that the quarterback (Hundley) was thinking solely about the clock ........ getting the additional yardage and picking up the 1st down was just a by-product of his main goal, which was to keep the clock running.
