I think Reich's quick tempo offense coupled with the return of Andrew Luck should certainly make the offense better. I like the tight end room carrying some offense production. The concern as always is the running game. Hoping that a few more anchors on the offensive line improves this over time. Also hope that Marlon Mack can stay healthy to show us what he can do. I am pretty high on Mack and think he wins the job outright.

Defensively I think the best we can hope for is bend don't break. Love our safety duo, but keeping them both healthy has to be a concern given the history. I still think pass rush, linebackers, and corners will be an issue. Defense easily will be the more frustrating unit to watch this season. We should hope to see some of these rookies flash a little middle to end of the season.

All in all I think that the return of Luck and my optimism for Reich puts this team a few wins better at 7-9.

Of course you would, since you think coaches don't matter.

Healthy Luck = Playoffs its that simple

I went 8-8 mainly on the strength of Lucks arm and better coaching. I actually think the potential is there to hit 10 wins but I have a feeling we are gonna get raped by bad officiating a couple times that will determine the outcome of at least two games.

We’ll be talking about the draft sooner than we’d like.

I think I will adjust my prediction to 8-8, instead of 10-6.

It appears my 6 wins prediction might be too optimistic...

Actually, I wouldn't bet the house against the Colts managing to win at least 6 games, in spite of their awful 1-5 start.

5-5 the rest of the way with the schedule that they have remaining isn't that much of a long shot.

My "11-4-1" on the other hand, appears to be the stuff of fairy tales ........ although if Reich had punted the ball and taken the tie against the Texans, they would now be 1-4-1 and could still reach that record by running the table in the final 10 games (like I said, the stuff of fairy tales.)

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised. I'll go out on a limb and say they won't lose the remainder of their games, so my prediction was too low. What a nice change from a year ago!
