The official" Custer had a better chance" Colts/Chiefs game day massacre thread !!

49-21 Chiefs.

Racehorse 10-06-2019 08:12 AM

So, you're saying there's a chance

Luck4Reich 10-06-2019 08:31 AM

Chiefs 65. Colts 21

HoosierinFL 10-06-2019 08:33 AM

Colts 78 Chiefs 3

This is one of those games where you just say fuck it, get drunk and hope you don't get too embarrassed. Even if we didn't have the injuries we have, this was going to be a damn tough game to win, even if Luck was in the building. Mahomes is a beast. The good thing is that KC's defense isn't very good, but then again, neither is ours.

Mahomes throws for over 10,000 yards tonight.

Hoopsdoc 10-06-2019 09:30 AM

I’ll be happy if we get beat by less than 3 td’s.

Colt Classic 10-06-2019 09:37 AM

Colts win just because everyone (me included) thinks they'll get blown out. This is how Vegas stays rich.

ChoppedWood 10-06-2019 09:39 AM

I think this will be another demonstration of how good Reich really is (we had a very real chance of winning a game last week without our best offensive and defensive players and without our starting safety and # 2 receiver...).

We won't win it, but it will be a game down the stretch. Frank will go after TOP and try to limit the possessions Mahomes gets.

23-14 KC.

Thorgrim 10-06-2019 09:42 AM

This is where the legend of Rolan Milligan begins.
Colts 31-30

Did anyone ( besides the Indians ) survive Little Big Horn, if so, a slight chance, like one in infinity!

o

The Colts' win over the Chiefs tonight will be just as surprising as was their loss to the Raiders last week ........ last year when the Colts started out at 1-5 in their first 6 games, they bottomed out with a loss to the Jets in Week 6 ........ they then proceeded to win 9 out of their final 10 regular season games to qualify for the post-season. The loss to the Jets last year was similar in terms of disappointment and unexpectedness as was the loss to the Raiders last week.

Let's go, Colts.

Speaking of Custer, I (along with the entire class) was caught off-guard when I was an undergraduate student in college when one of my sociology professors asked us how many Americans survived the Battle of Little Bighorn. We all thought/guessed very few. When the professor informed us that more than 2,000 Americans survived, he rhetorically asked us ........ "Were the Indians at that battle not Americans ???"

Colts 24 Chiefs ♾

YDFL Commish 10-06-2019 10:35 AM

The only chance the Colts have is to totally dominate on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Our O-Line and D-Line have to dominate this game. We are just simply not as talented as the Chiefs at the skill positions to win any other way.

These are very good points, as I am strictly looking at this with blue-shaded glasses in regard to my optimism, and my comparison of last week's Raiders loss to last season's Jets loss.

Didn't Vinatieri's great grandfather survive? Irsay likes to talk about that.

Wild. Yes there were survivors, including the band leader, one Felix Vinatieri. Some of you may have heard of his more famous great great grandson Adam.

Pez 10-06-2019 11:30 AM

It's an omen, 27-3 Colts.

natagu23 10-06-2019 11:31 AM

It gets ugly real quick.

Colts score late in garbage time to make the score a bit more respectable.

40-24 Chiefs

Big Smooth 10-06-2019 12:07 PM

They should have moved this game out of prime time after Luck retired... Assholes

NFL wants to showcase Mahomes. But I agree. Probably should have moved the Packers/Cowboys to this slot.

Colts 21 Chefs 42

Good Googily Moogily !

Discflinger 10-06-2019 12:57 PM

Thanks for the Zappa reference, but wasn’t it “Great” googily moogily?

Discflinger 10-06-2019 01:00 PM

“What do you say, Muleskinner?”
“General, you go down there.”
Complete and utter dismantlement.

Colt Classic 10-06-2019 01:04 PM

Off-topic, but it's funny playing the Star-Spangled Banner at the game in London. Stand for a minute while we play a song about how Americans kicked your ancestors' asses a few hundred years ago.

Love the Twilight Zone.

ChoppedWood 10-06-2019 04:47 PM

Got some good help today with both Jagoffs and Tits going down. That game coming out of the bye is going to be a pivotal tilt for our playoff chances.

YDFL Commish 10-06-2019 05:01 PM

I guess Quincy Wilson will be playing some safety today?

Luck4Reich 10-06-2019 07:29 PM

Mahomes might only have to play 1 half. Chiefs could easily have 35 points going into halftime.

Puck 10-06-2019 07:52 PM

27-13. Chiefs

Puck 10-06-2019 07:55 PM

Colts Running game
Only gets rolling after they’re down by 14+.

Dewey 5 10-06-2019 08:01 PM

Time to take an ass kicking. Maybe they can learn something from it.

Puck 10-06-2019 08:14 PM

Brissett once again late on throws Colts settle for FG while the Chiefs rack up TDS

If you didn’t take Kielce and Mahomes in Fan dual you dumb

Puck 10-06-2019 08:17 PM
