NFL playoff thread
Yea I know wrong forum...... Pretty bzy posting about the awesomeness of the Colts and just gonna make it easier for now to be involved in all conversations without looking.
This does not mean you need to come up with every playoff moment in NFL history C&O.... just saying |
Ravens Chargers on now.... have at it
Boomer thinks they could replace Jackson in the second half He looks like shit and the Bolts seem to be rattling him and have maybe figured out his BS |
I have mostly only seen highlights of Jackson until today so it is a pretty limited sample. He is a tremendous athlete, but he does not seem to do QB things very well.
|
Lamar Jackson is ugly and sucks

12-0 Chargers, at halftime. The first half of this game has been somewhat reminiscent of when the Colts went into Baltimore and beat the Ravens by a score of 15-6 in the 2006 Divisional playoffs, on the strength of 5 Adam Vinatieri field goals and a very solid effort by the Colts' defense. http://www.jt-sw.com/football/boxes/...st-div-ind-bal o |
Lamar looks pouty as fuck and Flacco looks like that cat the swallowed the canary. Joe is low key loving it.
|
o
Asshole, Chargers receiver ........ you have a 12-0 lead early in the 2nd half, deep in Ravens' territory. You are 2 yards BEYOND the 1st down sticks. Make the catch and go to the ground, especially since your quarterback threw that ball under a serious pass rush from the defense. To hell with your visions of grandeur about running into the end zone. SUCKY SITUATIONAL AWARENESS ........ the opposite of Andrew Luck yesterday, who ate the ball on 3rd down when his team was up by a score of 21-0 late in the 3rd quarter instead of risking a fumble or an INT. o |
That is one of the things I love about TY, his field position awareness is phenomenal, much like Marvin.
|
I love the Jackson hype might come to and end finally..... But no way the Chargers beat NE.

Yesterday I questioned some BS playoff team power ranking that had Colts dead last at 12th. Following is what some asshat responded with.

Granted that Puck and I are not exactly the best of friends, but he deserves credit for starting this thread in the COLTS forum ........ it's a rare case in which posting in the wrong forum is indeed appropriate. o |

the great running QB hype comes to an end again. Chargers are a good team, could see them beating the pats.
|
The Ravens remain one of my most hated teams. Pure filth.
Also, Jackson stinks. |

Well, I didn't say that we weren't friends ........ just not exactly the best of friends. o |
I'm rooting for the Ravens because the Chargers are a better team.
But I guess for it to matter to the Colts, they'll have to beat KC first. 1-0. 1-0. 1-0. |
Another guy fumbles fighting for extra yards with a guy dragging him down. Gotta know when to go down, just a target for the defense at that point.

And coupled with that turnover which resulted in a Ravens field goal, that was probably at least a 6-point (and maybe a 10-point) swing right there. If the receiver had done the right thing, the Chargers very likely would have had a field goal from ultra-chip-shot range, and maybe even a touchdown. Instead of being up either 15-0 or 19-0 with the Ravens on the brink of oblivion, it's still a game at 12-3. o |

They have a pass rush but but not much more the ravens D can stop Brady... And if they go back to Fuckko he might take advantage of the opportunity |
I'm not really seeing anything in this game that scares me. It's surely not as fun a game to watch as ours was.
|
Yeah, the Ravens' special teams unit has come up huge early in the second half, with a blocked FG and blocked punt.
|
And now Tucker misses his first post season FG - beautiful.
i just can't root for the Ravens - unless they're playing the Patriots. |

I’m not sorry to see the ravens getting knocked out, that defense is scary. But they can’t score, well they can’t pass. If Flacco came in and got hot like he did on their SB, they would be nearly unstoppable. |

That 28-yard pass and catch from Rivers to Mike Williams ........ fast-forward to 7:55. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYDk8phu6tA o |

Is the Aaron Bailey drop next? |
he's down. no TD though
|
If they award the TD Baltimore is going to burn tonight.

That would have been yesterday, when Ebron had it, lost it, had it, and lost it again in the end zone. Unlike that Bailey play from the 1995 AFC Championship game, the Colts got a touchdown on the very next play on a pass from Luck to Inman. o |

would you put Flacco in?
|
The crowd want Flacco. Harbaugh is going to get burned at the stake if he doesn't make the change

What a clinic by the Chargers on D. The Ravens have -2 passing yards.
Harbaugh knows he should put Flacco in. However, he won't. It's too late, they're not winning this anyway. And, given Jackson is the future there, it's not worth pulling him. Just saw this tweet regarding the matter.... "The only conclusion: Lamar Jackson has a sex tape of Ray Lewis and John Harbaugh." |

Square head scrunch face getting roughed up. Yet another regular season hype QB that all of the experts salivate over how great he looks in a regular season game and then falls flat because he can't do much when defenses get good.
|
I just have to say how much I enjoy Baltimore tears.
